Loganet Anti-Spam System
Loganet utilizes an anti-spam system that “learns” your e-mail characteristics and uniquely categorizes your incoming
e-mail messages as “SPAM” or “Innocent”.
The Basics
All e-mail received will be displayed in your History. If you look through your History, you'll see messages thought
to be SPAM , Innocent and Miss.

The system works very well if you help it out by doing some occasional training. The more training you
provide the system, the more accurate it will become at determining whether your e-mail is Spam or Innocent
You should never lose an e-mail message with this system. Any message thought to be SPAM is placed in your
Quarantine folder for up to 15 days. Each messages, Spam or Innocent is recorded in your History page and
retained for up to 15 days. You should periodically manage the content of these pages. You can log into the anti-spam system @
http://antispam.loganet.net/ Login with your full e-mail address and the password that was provided to you.
MAIN MENU
From
the Main Menu, you have several options to manage your personal Anti-Spam
settings and e-mail handling.
1. Alerts – Can be used to highlight messages that might appear in
your quarantine that you think may be false positives.
For example: Entering “hotmail.com” would cause any message
to/from an address with “hotmail.com” or any message with
“hotmail.com” in the subject to be highlighted when viewing
the quarantine. This will be a useful feature to help you identify important
messages as your quarantine fills with spam. You do not need to use
this feature. It's only for convenience.
a) You may add as many alerts as you like.
b) Repeating an entry will not provide additional highlighting.

HISTORY
8. Click History.
Note: History contains
messages which passed
through the Anti-Spam system in
the past 15 days.
9. Review messages to see if any
are listed incorrectly as spam or
innocent and should be retrained.
Note: If you receive a message
in your e-mail application that was
not caught by the filter, please
“retrain” it to improve the filter’s
accuracy.
10. Click As Spam or As Innocent to
retrain any incorrect messages.
Note: The Retrain column can be
a little confusing. Think “Retrain as
Spam” or “Retrain as Innocent” when
determining whether or not the
message should be retrained.
11. You can also check the box
next to each message and Retrain
multiple messages at once, using the
"Retrain Checked" button. Do not
retrain more than 25 messages at a time.
