Hello and Welcome to North Creek Farm
#3, my name is Marlene, glad you stopped by. We are
getting off to a fresh start this year (2008) with the purchase of our
first Boer Goats.
We also have decided to add some new chicken
breeds that will be used to sell fertile hatching eggs. Chicken
breeds we currently have are Welsummer's, Cuckoo Marans,
Araucanas/Americanas, White Leghorns and Cornish Cross
chickens. We
have had great seccess raising our Cornish Cross broilers free range
(no pens, no cages, just like mother nature intended) for the
freezer.
Feel free
to check back often and see what we are up to. We
have Fullblood Boer Goat kids due in March of 2009, this is also the
time we will begin selling hatching eggs from our free range
chickens. In 2009 we will also be adding some Sebastopol
Geese, Call Ducks, Wheaton Marans and the beautiful Black Copper Marans.
Things promise to be interesting, and don't
forget to check our farm blog and see what we are doing. The blog
is our farm diary to help you feel a part of the excitement.

Here is a video of Hank,
my young Billy from the Eggs bloodline. Hank looks great
all the time without any grain. We only provide 100%
alfalfa pellets for a treat , our boer goats must pull their own weight
without eating into the profits.

Video of Emma and Spot inside livestock
trailer, Emma makes Spot give up her place on the top of the straw
pile. They love to sit up there so they can watch what is
going on outside.
