The Colored
Sebastopol
Geese for sale at The Sebastopol Goose Barn.
My
flock of colored sebastopol geese
come in all colors, from saddlebacks, gray's, blues as well as Buff's
and Lavender Sebastopol's. The summer of 2011 I attended the Iowa
State Fair and took one of my blue sebastopol babies, we won 1st place
and won Best of Variety ! The future looks promising for the
colored sebastopol's !! Most all of my Sebastopol's are
directly from
Holderrread's , with the exception of a few from top show quality
parents who have won many top honors in fairs.

Sebastopol
Geese come in white and thanks to the many years of breeding by
waterfowl expert Dave Holderread, Sebastopol geese now come in many
colors. Some of the colors seen here are the blue and gray
sebastopol. Many people think the blues and the gray's are
the same color, but there is quite a difference. The top
left picture on this page is a blue and the bottom right is a gray, a
remarkable difference.
The saddleback's can come in gray or blue saddleback or even a
buff saddleback. Hopefully in time we will develop a
lavender saddleback.
The lavender sebastopol are a pale blue, that seems to glow in the
sunlight. I do have individual colors on other pages on the
website. Note- when breeding colored sebastopol's it is almost
impossible to guarantee the resulting colors of gosling's. This
is because if a specific color of sebastopol is bred to another and if
there is another color in their background, you can get a recessive
color gene to pop up. this results in

old Blue Sebastopol gander.
